West Lake Park, Deaven Port Iowa
May 29th – 30th 2017
Found a beautiful state campsite in Deaven Port Iowa called, West Lake Park which was a state park. Upon discovering such a lovely campground, we decided to stay 2 nights.
This campground is broken up into 6 different areas. Park Terrance Campground was the one we chose to stay in. Best of all, they give a discount to people who are 62 years old and older. Woot!! If we recall correctly, we paid $20 a night.
Park Terrance Campground is open year around, including the restrooms. The availablity of water is only from mid April to mid October.
There is 50 amp power, water and a dumping station on site. Can’t ask for anything more :).
