Through all our research of becoming full time RVers, Bill found this interesting group called Harvest Hosts. The cost of a membership is approximately $45.00 for a year. With this membership, you are welcome to enjoy a free nights stay at lovely wineries like Casa-Dea Estates Winery, in Wellington, Ontario.

All we had to do was call Casa-Dea Estates, mention that we were members of Harvest Hosts and ask if they had any available spots for the night that we wanted to drop by.

We were greeted by a very friendly staff member when we arrived at Casa-Dea Estates Winery. She came outside to direct us to the secluded parking space behind their Banquet Hall.

Once we were settled, we went inside the store. We were treated to glass of any wine we were interested in trying. We each had a glass of our choice and then bought 1 bottle each. The wine is delicious :).

The young lady was happy to answer any of our questions as we sipped our wine. She explained to us, that they held weddings there.

A lovely place to be married

There was a pergola available to be married under out near the vineyards which they will decorate for weddings and surround with rows of chairs. Near by is a climate controlled banquet hall which will accommodate up to 200 guests. The hall has cathedral ceilings, large windows overlooking one of Prince Edward County’s largest vineyards.

They offer the experience of an events planner or will work with your own wedding planner.

We also asked about an adorable house that was not far away. We were told that was Casa Del Silenzio. The guest house of the vineyard that may be enjoyed for the romance of staying at a vineyard on your special wedding night, or for the wedding party to get ready in, or even if you just want to have a get away for the weekend at a vineyard.

The house was a 3  bedroom, 2 story  pretty little place set off to the back of the vineyard

Once the store closed and every one left, we were left in total silence to watch a beautiful sun set and an amazing view of the vineyards from our own living room windows :). Great way to end the day of travel.
